An impact8 program dedicated to sustainable mobility
Coop Carbone, as part of its mobis initiative, is collaborating with Esplanade to offer organizations (inc, coop, non-profits…) an opportunity to validate, in a real-world setting, their innovative solutions in urban logistics/ mobility and work-related travel. This unprecedented impact8 program will combine access to expert resources and stakeholders (potential customers, citizens / employees) to test solutions that will have a direct impact on two geographic areas of Montreal’s eastern region.
There will be two phases in this program:
– Phase 1: 10 to 15 companies will participate, this winter, in a 12-week Collision program meant to develop their business plans, interact with different actors and build their experimental “on the ground” plan;
– Phase 2: In the spring of 2020, 3 to 5 companies will be retained by an expert committee to continue the journey within the 6-month Acceleration program aimed at realizing a prototype in the real world and supporting the development of the business model.

Urban logisticsThe challenge: to make urban logistics, across multiple sectors of activity (e-commerce, bio-food, waste, etc.), more efficient, safe and sustainable. Are you addressing the last mile issue, packaging issues, delivery failures or any other logistics related issues in your business model? Meet a diversity of merchants, citizens, public authorities and supply chain actors present in the Petite-Patrie in Montreal, and come jointly develop your project!
Mobility / workThe challenge: to make work-related travel, specifically for outlying areas, more efficient and sustainable. Are you addressing the issue of public transit access or any other issue that could reduce the impact of single passenger trips, or even avoid work-related travelling altogether? Meet the diversity of employers, employees, citizens, public authorities and sustainable mobility actors present in Assumption South in Montreal, and come jointly develop your project!
On the ground: Experimental sites
With the support of the Coop Carbone and its partners, the two experimental sites will allow you to meet local stakeholders, benefit from the ecosystem of existing projects, and identify new opportunities for the development and financing of your projects.
