Community health

Health is a complete state of physical, mental and social well-being, which does not consist solely of the absence of disease or infirmity.

Access to health care and services are among the main challenges facing governments and civil society today. Several factors, including aging populations, lifestyle changes, and increasing costs of managing national health systems are driving the emergence of innovation in this sector.
More specifically, with its innovative approach and high level of participation, community health is receiving increasing attention from various actors in the health system. Community health is when stakeholders of the health sector are consulted and directly involved in identifying priorities, as well as evaluating and deploying appropriate solutions.

The Collision program aims to support projects that have innovative processes, products or services targeting community health missions:
  • Prevention
  • Promoting healthy lifestyles
  • Accessibility to health care
  • Improvement of a patient’s experience
  • Homecare services
  • Improving access to information
  • Therapeutic compliance, etc.
